Lesson one: make sure workers wear proper shoes or boots... I bought my crew boots, safety glasses and assorted stuff like belts etc.. I always added an engineering fee to every project that funded such items. I learned that from another contractor. Saved my butt several times.. On legality it depends on state... In Texas workers have little rights compared to companies. You can get fired for no reason... Not a right to work state....
