Not sure that can be done if the switch is in L2 mode. You can send the
mirrored/filtered packets out a local, physical interface only. In L3 mode
you can use "monitor session" command to send it to a L3 destination.

He might be better off physically connecting to the switch and doing a port
mirror with wireshark.
