And sync over power died on FSK radios frequent enough that we went to
timing port only at every FSK site. And of course we still have to
maintain it until we get all of the customers moved off, which is a
metric shitload.
I have some pure 450 and mixed 450/FSK sites where GPS just goes stupid.
We put a SyncBox on top and a SyncInjector at the bottom on its own
pipe. Had to have redundant timing at least for the 450 clusters.

We use it for top-of-tower applications (mostly FSK) where we have

not dismissing your current issue, but why do serial sync at all
now with syncinjectors as inexpensive as they are?

The 4 port syncbox Jr will be shipping either just before or

The rackinjector is at the stage that it could appear on our
store for preorders for wispapalooza, with shipping almost
certainly happening before the end of the year. I'll have
the current prototype at wispapalooza to show off. The only
reason why I'm soft on the ship date is that I've had enough
nightmares trying to find an enclosure vendor that I am still
unreasonably skeptical that enclosures are actually going to
show up here when I expect them to. That's also the reason
I'm debating whether preorders are a good idea.
If you have a SiteMonitor Base Unit you can turn off sync , or
you can simply disconnect the SyncPipe or syncbox.

What will pricing be on this unit and shipping ETA? Is
there a way in
a syncinjector to turn off sync over power on a given
port? I am
still have issues with getting stable 1Gbps on long cable

450i. Just ran into issue on a 280 foot tower of being
locked at
10mbps. Happened on a tower upgrade job but too late in

to investigate further. Hopefully just a faulty connector.
Where is our 1U syncinjector? ;-)
