Are you talking about trying to login via MAC telnet? The Neighbor list
is just everything that is spitting out Discovery info, ala CDP or UBNT
discovery, you can see all your cisco or UBNT devices in a mikrotik
neighbor list, but you can't login at a MAC level to them. It is just a
tool to see layer 2 connected devices IP Address, name, etc.
From http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/MAC_access "MAC telnet is possible
between two MikroTik RouterOS routers only. "

Can you expand on this? How do we login then? From what device? I
guess I was assuming we could from a Tik, but maybe there is something
else in mind? I dont see an option from Cambium?

I think the user/password is done locally before any communication is
done with the remote device. I know that when I have a Tik that is
locked up, but still showing in the neighbor list, mactelnet will
always ask user/pass, but then fail when trying to connect.
I always through mac-telnet was Tik proprietary.

Good job Cambium.

By default MAC-Telnet is enabled and the radios show up in IP
Neighbors on a Mikrotik. When we trying connecting we get
challenged for Login (then password) and the normal password for
the Admin account get rejected.

Am I missing something?
