Which range extenders do you like?

All the best long range routers are a base unit with 2 range extender's issues I've seen with over powered routers like the nighthawk is when customer is next to the router the signal can get way too hot and the customer will think the internet is dropping really the best solution is a cambium router and buy 2 range extenders and up sell it as the ultimate range or something like that

I have also had good success putting a NanoM2 in router mode and making it the wifi router you can manage it and it has crazy range but dose not look very nice

Managing said router is a good upsell and helps your customer's
    experience with your service.

I've seen people charge between $4-$12/mo for this service.

Basically, you're responsible for: firmware upgrades, port
forwards, vpns, telling them their wireless password, etc.

Not only does it help keep your network secure, but it keeps your
customers happy and can be quite profitable.

        define "managed" - clearly
we drop an air router (ubnt) with a DMZ and no upnp
thats free, anything else, get your own
business, we will sell you a Fortigate
residential, we dont se a market with a cost that is
        capturable for any feature

What does everyone use/offer for managed
                    customer routers?

We use the Cambium R200P router currently,
                    however we are looking for

one with better wireless range. In general
                    circumstances the router

works fine, but we are looking for a good all
                    in one, manageable

router with excellent range - and maybe dual
                    band (I know the R201P

exists). The R200P seems pricey for simply
                    single band 2.4ghz.

Not too hung up on the ability to power the CPE
                    through the router.

                    Poe bricks are fine.

                    Thanks

                    Josh
