The key ingredient is nixtamal, the corn dough used to make tamale Masa. You can buy prepared or unprepared. My wife uses lard, broth from pork, salt to tenderize it as you knead it. As she is preparing it she adds Chile from same she uses on pork...Warm water as you knead it...I will get the particular amounts and ingredients tomorrow.
