That aside, with this raid being as botched as it was there were some critical failures in both intelligence and decision making at the highest level. Those units don't act unless they have very very very recent (sometimes to the minute) info unless told otherwise. Several things went wrong, no doubt, and some of that squarely falls on Trump.
