I could probably do one at that price without a case.  Just a bare PCB with 
maybe some mounting holes on the corners.

I haven’t tried it, but the Tycon $6 injector may work in reverse as well.

You would have to find a gender change cable for the DC round plug I guess.

 

But I haven’t found a good solution for this either, in the form of a standard 
GigE picker and injector pair, that works well and is under $20.
