That's a good reason to always climb with a line and have a descender with you. Riding a guy wire is just asking for injury or death.

So now you are sliding down it...guess you could wrap legs around it and come down slower with hopefully gloved hands. Or wrap lanyard around guyed wire several times as braking system?
