I am not calling Mimosa B11 equipment junk by any means. It fits a
need...it's an affordable solution which offers protection from
interference with license and legal recourse...big plus...in my other life,
I was sent prototype radios to test in this area which is noisy due to
proximity to Mexican border (2 million folks) of Cd. Juarez, Fort Bliss ,
Biggs, and utilities compounded by noise from 7 WISPs. Some of the up
converted radios heard other radios in 2.4GHz and it affected converted
signal like 902-928Mhz. Spectrum Analyzer showed it clearly...some of
these became viable products with internal shielding, others did not. I
appreciate Mimosa ,Cambium, Ignite and Ubiquiti efforts and innovation.
Hell , 512k ptp radios were the cat's pajamas when I started in this
discipline...

I'm with Steve. I just bought a couple B11s and they are going on a tower
that has so much 5GHz that is very loud. If 5GHz interferes with it then
I'm screwed.

Thank you,

So, there is potential for interference from 5g? If this is a garbage chip
like that i dont want this gear. I wasnt behind the purchase, i want saf, i
like saf, saf support is awesome, everyone in the saf sales channel has
been awesome, even the saf guy who doesnt work for them.

I got into junk gear im going to regret, didnt i?
