You can also power a medusa with any PacketFlux PowerInjector+Sync, forgot
to mention this.   Power+Ethernet, but not sync (the 450m doesn't support
old-style canopy sync).

Shouldn't be a problem at that length for power, not so much ethernet (but
use a 56V power supply).   And a lot cheaper than a CMM5.
