There are also quite a few USB to CAT5 'extenders' which will allow you to use CAT5 to extend the USB cable up to a few hundred feet.... It looks like these devices may be mainly used in VM environments to attach USB Devices to VMs without going through the physical host. Has anyone had experience with these devices?
