African Cinema Conference presents...

DOCUMENTARY ANIMATION

An exciting opportunity exists for talented animators, visual artists,
puppeteers and graphics fundi's to have their work showcased in two
ground-breaking documentaries being produced by cutting-edge production
company CONTROVERSI FILMS.

LOVE FOOLS is a 52 min documentary filmed in 8 countries that looks at the
phenomena of love and how it affects ordinary people. Funky, zany,
off-the-wall graphics and animation combined with cool puppetry will
illustrate portions of the programme.

INNOCENCE LOST looks at child abuse through the eyes of children. This
chilling programme provides a unique, unsettling insight into the experience
of sexually abused children in their own words and drawings. A team of
talented artists and animators will "bring to life" the actual drawings by
these children and take viewers into the child's nightmare reality.

If you would like to be involved in either of these programmes, which will
be premiered at the African Documentary Festival at Sithengi in November
2003, then please contact Derek Antonio Serra on 082 5544315 or
