Hi Aki,

Not sure if you can scriptcall to a script inside another exe. It would be
better to put the script to be called into a folder
either copy it out to temp or keep it in a fixed folder. Then do something like:
scriptmerge path\scriptname
And then make a subroutine in S to go to.
If you make a global variable in M and set that in S, M will then pick up the
value.

For example the S script I put in c:\DigiLib

;Script mergetest.gls
;Last modified by d at 15/06/2006 10:05:08
;startup file for testmerge.glp

subtest:
set varvic "Been to subroutine"
return

The main M exe:
drawCLEAR white
color black
scriptmerge C:\DigiLib\mergetest

global varvic "In main exe"
gosub subtest
messagebox @varvic ; has now been set to the 'Been to subroutine' text
exit

I hope that helps - I'm sure when John wakes up he will have a much neater
solution but for now this should work!
Good luck!
Vicky

Subject: Applications discussing

Hi folks !

I am trying to find out a solution to discuss (send data and call
subroutines) between glpro exe´d applications.

So, I have a master (M) and a slave (S) program running.

Need to "scriptcall" from M a routine in S and return the value back to M.

Hoping someone has already a solution and is willing to share it.

Regards,

Aki Veijalainen
