Logan, Most of the things you cited are NOT in the Koran, but rather are culture that has crept in over past millennia, akin to Western prohibition against polygamy, even in circumstances that makes obvious sense, e.g. for menopausal women, despite this practice being mentioned in the Old Testament.
The Koran respects Moses as a prophet and the Old Testament, which says (depending on translation) that ~"Men who lie with men are an abomination to God and are to be killed", so blame the Jews for that one, rather than the Muslims. While the Koran may not be responsible for the particular craziness you mentioned, there definitely IS a generous dose of dysfunctionality therein, as otherwise, there would only be one Islam, they wouldn't be targeting innocents, etc. Steve On 5:06PM, Fri, Jun 22, 2018 Logan Streondj via AGI <[email protected]> wrote: > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA256 > > > > On 06/22/18 19:02, Steve Richfield via AGI wrote: > > Logan, > > > > What do I use to open a .tex file? > > any text file editor should do it. > > > > > It is (nearly) impossible to optimize anything without criteria > > and knowledge of free independent variables.
