Get TEXWORKS or TEXMACS to handle it;
it is in LaTeX form but needs a couple of minor fixes.

Logan,
What do I use to open a .tex file?
It is (nearly) impossible to optimize anything without criteria and knowledge of free
independent variables. This is best and most easily done with knowledge of good
exemplars. The only reason present stories sound interesting is that readers are NOT
familiar with such exemplars, so they read stories against our present backdrop.
Starwars has shifted that backdrop, but not in any real-world sort of way.
To illustrate, Islam spectacularly succeeds in voluntarily keeping families together
and raising children with their biological parents, but fails to raise smart
children, or regulate population in an acceptable way, so there is a LOT to learn and
understand - and add to correct its shortcomings. As you pile on more corrections,
you get to a point of starting over with a clean slate. That is where I am now.

Logan,
We probably should, unless someone objects, take this off-line, because
it
has little/nothing to do with computers, though it has everything to do
with
what to expect from a non-destructive AGI - which appears to be quite
achievable without computer assistance.
I went to send you an off-forum email, but apparently, the AGI forum now
filters out our personal email addresses.
So, you or anyone else who is interested should email me directly at:

Until now, ALL sci fi, ALL philosophy, etc., has been
"relative" - as
seen from another culture. I have been working on describing a
"reference" culture, to be used to understand and improve all
past,
present, and future real world cultures, guide legislation to at
least not make optimal behavior illegal, etc.
A description of such a thing would look a LOT like science
fiction,
so I am looking for a sci fi writer who is interested in my
project
to produce a document that is at once a good story AND
describes a
rough draft reference culture.
This stuff throws ordinary people into complete brain short. I
presented a small part of this at a Toastmasters meeting several
weeks ago - and as a result they are STILL arguing about
whether and
how to limit subject matter. I video recorded this presentation.
The one previous poor attempt at describing a reference culture
was
the Koran, but it missed even more than it got right.
Anyway, if you are interested or know anyone else who might be
interested, please contact me.
Thanks.
