Incredibly, the argument over climate change continues, despite having the means of resolving this at hand. All sides of this debate seem to be afflicted with various flavors of anti technology bias. Of course, there is also plenty of anti technology bias on all sides of AGI, so pay attention.
I have designed a sort of 2-level experiment in the form of a GoFundMe campaign to do the relatively simple work to resolve the technical issues relating to climate change, in a way that invites participation of the various sides of the debate, while everyone watches to see who objects - and why. You can help me by posting the GoFundMe page on your Facebook or other social media, along with any comments you might make. A tiny donation would also help show that other's think this is important to do. Also, I would appreciate any corrections to help make this look as real as possible, preferably emailed directly to me. The GoFundMe page is at: https://www.gofundme.com/climate-computation It is my hope and expectation that, in addition to addressing climate change, that my experiment will also shed light on other debates relating to various other applications of technology, including AGI. Thanks for your help.
