Are you sure you wouldn't be better served by calling your ideas some other 
names than "consciousness" and "qualia," then?  We're all getting "hung-up on" 
the concepts that those terms actually refer to.  I do not see how 
communication protocols have anything to do with consciousness as it is usually 
understood.
