Noooo! It's way more than first person experience you always focus on that. Think outside the skull. Consciousness is the glue that holds us all together. It's part of the edges that connects the nodes. Without the edges the brain in a lab terminates or never even starts. Think about the functional aspects related to distributed general intelligence and not as much not disassembling quantum experiences though that is interesting and thought provoking to some at least. Not really talking about magical experiences or things outside of physics... but now since you mentioned it :) Some people think a metal ball floating in the air is magic, or an invisibility cloak, or a computer that can read your screen wirelessly from across the street, or a computer that can transcribe your thoughts or even a computer that can feel your consciousness… or one that can replicate your mind and perhaps at the very minimal allowing you to write better code? ------------------------------------------ Artificial General Intelligence List: AGI Permalink: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/T8eabd59f2f06cc50-M68a66654a52ab2187dd51e0e Delivery options: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/subscription
