Yes Matt I believe either Google, OpenAI, or me (or all 3 if merge ;p OpenAI already works with google) will make AGI in 15-30 years. It's possible, 10 years. The biggest factor, is getting others to help me/ you understand AGI, this is really killing it :(
"100-300M lines of code" Matt...come on you've seen so many algorithms around the Hutter Prize etc, all of them are like 300-1,000 lines of code. We know 500 lines of code can be really intelligent. If I recall GPT and Jukebox etc are each ~300 lines of code. Only the weirdo contestants write 5,000 lines of code, it's a hack of all sorts of algorithms smashed together in a unbrainlike way... ------------------------------------------ Artificial General Intelligence List: AGI Permalink: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/T54594b98b5b98f83-M080904180eb7bb34accb4ee0 Delivery options: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/subscription
