My suggestion - build a AI like GPT-2 / PPM, and see for yourself how one exactly works, to get out of this qualia bubble your seriously stuck in (clearly you are, yes, I'm telling you, I've been there one time when I was a young and dumb beginner).

The text or image dataset contains all the same data/ problems as real life problems. AI can only find/ create patterns, nothing else in the universe can be leveraged. and therefore LC tests that AI finds patterns and then uses its experiences to predict the answers. All any AI can do is exact matches, translation, recency boosting, etc, it's simple to make AGI really, there is no nouns and verbs and etc, this is not what makes DALL-E or GPT-2, just simple pattern finding mechanisms.
