We can only use patterns to build something useful at later times....DALL-E can answer trillions of inputs accurately....hammers can solve hundreds of problems, ones that reoccur too....
Even acting random so a sniper can't target you easily is a pattern...disallowing his patterns to exist or killing all his family allows you pattern to exist longer. But the brain, there is certainly noise at some low level, that is NOT part of the mechanism evolution made, just like how there is dangerous bacteria on my legs that should NOT be there, yet is on your legs too. And is any this noise used?
