I was working on an algorithm for knowledge obsolescence once. I think it could be quite relevant still. In order to place an ROI on a system of decision making, the calculated value of obsolescence has to be discounted against the net value of any body of knowledge (database, expert system, AI repository, or whatever folder of "knowledge"). How so?
