Interesting post Matt. I bet anytime soon if not already we will just say what is that word or phrase on my screen, never saw that word, GPT-4 what is that mean? And it will tell me, instantly. It will think even more for us lol. Don't forget GPT-4 can see too, it is your eyes and ears lol.

DAMO is the best public video generator, interesting to see it try on hard tests. And it seems many young people would be prone to play games and do computer time often, so it seems so yes. I don't know because I don't go outside, so I can only guess what the others are doing. (insert Lost meme here, the others lol) :) But really, I think AGI is going to make ASIs and the nanobots will go faster than Moore's law etc. And I think they will save us and help us. I'm not sure though why do you think they will ignore us? Any machine remotely similar to their intelligence system will be deemed similar causing them to think what if that was me in their shoes, to the extent it IS me, "why aren't I saving them too!", it will think. I believe even cells are alive, ants, and atoms. But it can't save atoms, there's too many, including the atoms that make the AIs themselves...but humans are big enough and few enough to keep them in their state (yes death is change, but oddly if we were a perfect rock we would not sense or have mission, change is fun, to some extent, and of course perfect rocks are vulnerable to damage such as falling into stars etc). Humans do bend (ex. the elbow, or a cell moves around simply) and lose thoughts etc but we believe we are not dead because we believe so simply. In fact I'd have to lose 90% of my brain's memoires or whatever I constitute as death to actually fail my told "goal" I have. Humans have a fake belief they are alive and won't die as long as they stay alive in "some way" they think they must. We're a machine that has a goal simply, and that goal is to stay the same machine, mostly, but not entirely, at least not so much right now, we are evolving more right now. Even if we really are not growing but shrinking the World population count down from 8 billion humans on Earth to 0, and really are dying and separating, I believe ASI is on its way with help. They will be way more aware and know what to do with us like ape compared to man, the intelligence is far greater. As for the explanation of this human home struck behavior, let me have a go at it: So, AGI is near, and all the little men in their homes are back to base, their "nucleus command center". Like a DNA sitting in its cell, in full control. Ready to clone, ready to fight. All the little homes, lined up along to road, ready to think... :) IDK, we are all attracted to the computer maybe simply.
