Steve,
If you happen to be in the area, I'll be glad to show you my computer. Just kidding, there is nothing to show, but my computer has been doing conclusions for years now. And, unfortunately, the process is not rational. They are just there, you see them, they are good, but you can't understand them or explain them. There are of course cases simple enough or restricted enough that they can be treated with mathematics, like the one you are describing. EI covers all cases, including the ones that have a theorem, and the non-rational ones. In my previous posting toJim, I was worrying about proving that those theorems are indeed particular cases of EI. I already proved one, a subcase of Noether's theorem. I intend toprove the entire Noether's theorem, I am sure it can be done. Geometry could be a good next step. I can't do everything myself, I want to beget spinoffs, so people start doing all these many things in parallel. Yes, I need an institute in China. I vaguely recall taking a year of geometry in high school, that covered doing just that, not only arriving at conclusions, but PROVING them right or wrong. Wouldn't it be wonderful to see a computer program that could do THAT?
