You're joking- right? This whole thing is coming to a head MUCH faster
than AGI could conceivably be developed, and even if AGI were developed,
it would be utilized AGAINST reasonable solutions.

The trick to solving grand challenges is to adopt the irrational belief
that you can do something about them. ;)
One of the critical things an AI researcher must do is to overcome his
self-doubts. Yes, that invites the risk of becoming a crackpot, but it
is a necessary step, otherwise you'll be killed off by your own inaction.
That said, I never claimed that my efforts amount to anything more than
a "hail marry"... Only that I intend to keep moving forward in whatever
way I can.
