Add a learning system where new knowledge is acquired though textual
analysis and conversation and retained.
Add a goal system.
Add an planning system
Add a very large knowledge base of common sense knowledge that you typically
would not find in factual knowledge bases such as.
"Many woman get uncomfortable when you ask them their age."
"People insult you when they are angry or frustrated with you."
Add a lot of social goals such "Goal: try not offend people or make them
uncomfortable." or "Goal: if somebody insults you , ask them why they feel
the need to insult you."
Add an ethics system that incorporates goals that prevents the AI from
pursuing unethical courses of action that would violate what most people
consider core values.
Figure out how to integrate these modules with Watson and you would be a lot
closer.
