Anastasios, I'm not sure, but your comments suggest you missed my primary point...
The 3D chips do the same computing as 2D chips. 99.99% of ANNs work in 3D, some having other dimensions derived from the original 3D, but without time doing much of anything. There are some serious challenges in driving time information from samples, which roughly correspond to driving scene information from discrete pixels, in short, you need LOTS more points to learn to recognize things than it theoretically takes to recognize things once you know what you are looking for. It appears that my point may be so subtle that you missed it. In short: Time is really like the other 3 dimensions, complete with similar shifting boundaries, etc, yet pretty much everyone in AGI either ignores it, or handles it ENTIRELY differently (and dysfunctaionally). Simply institute a six hour workday. That will easily create enough new jobs to bring back full employment. ------------------------------------------- AGI Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/303/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/303/21088071-f452e424 Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=21088071&id_secret=21088071-58d57657 Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
