Yes, because 85% of the working population now does highly irrelevant
bullshit we invented to keep this framework running.
You have to differentiate between relevant work and systemic jobs which
contribute nothing to society. Marketing, lobbyism, insurance agents,
tax accountants, real estate brokers, cashiers, lawyers, bankers, large
parts of the military and police, professional athletes, economic
auditors, etc., etc., serve no real purpose other than to maintain the
status quo.
Indoctrinating the society to accept and legitimize more and more
pointless activities should not be our goal?
If you just look at relevant work we already got an unemployment rate of
85%+ just because of technological developments.
