Thanks for the compliment, extremely intelligent, yes, I would be too
humble to admit it! Are you saying you want to do some kind of code quality
business? Well, it is good you made money and plan on making more, because
both the few that write here and the many that are desperately depend on
academic/public grants and never dillute their equity by writing here, all
of us we would have been at a much better place with more junk in the bank.

1) Especially thinking ahead in terms of a business, it helps if the
language is somehow enterpise ready, with build systems, database
connectors etc. Luckily most of the top 50 are adequate, but I could not
advocate "advanced C++" like OpenCog. Something from the Java ecosystem may
serve you quite well, like Clojure, or even Erlang if you can tolerate
never been able to find and hire anyone who knows it! If you want some
Google in your life then GoLang can do it.

2) Both is a decent answer

3) For not very general intelligence you can't go wrong with these Deep
Learning NNs, and I doubt you need to understand them or develop them in
any way! But we are talking about experiments, and the heart and soul of
data science is statistics, you may want to regularly return to a good book
or start with http://homepage.tudelft.nl/a9p19/papers/pami_00_review.pdf .
For more general intelligence, I seem to belong to a minority that believes
that ontology "curation" is the alpha and omega, but it ain't easy!

45) you could just as well as usurp OpenCog or some other big public domain
code base, OpenCyc comes to mind, for your designs. And avoid AIXI like the
plague. I don't think you need any blogs and stuff until you've watched all
the AGI conference videos on Youtube.
