In absence of a control group I wouldn't put much value into a surge
in spider activity. I serve some 60 GBytes of information, and see the
strangest spiders in the logs.

While I see the value of AI in data mining and weapon platform control,
I would not start wearing a tin hat just now. Especially, if you're a
hobbyist.
