Google certainly has the where with all of financing and position to make a major thrust into AGI. Yet the AGI people could set up their own grid of supporters. I don't know the objective function of Google is, but who does. I would think maybe an AGI society might be in order. Of course some have already formed... Some AGI's might have a more benevolent objective and those that are Capitalist and Preditory oriented.
