Why?  Because of the utilitarian nature of what people are trying to do with
AGI.  Metrics are needed.  Performance comparisons, statistics, monitoring,
system health measurements, we need numbers to look at.  The numbers have
got to come from somewhere.  You should be the one to whip up an equation.
You have to have something in mind eh?  Even if it's 20 variables and 2
pages of math it's still something.
