What? It is not *my* definition of vision. There are standard definitions of vision like vi·sion /ˈvɪʒən/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[vizh-uhn] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation –noun 1. the act or power of sensing with the eyes; sight. from dictionary .com. --------------------------------------- Echo-location is hearing (the act or power of sensing with the ears), *NOT* vision. --------------------------------------- If you can't come up with something necessary for intelligence that vision allows that echo-location does not, then you can't say that vision is necessary (i.e. your argument is total BS). > Vision can simulate > "spatial" intelligence. What you mean is . . . . it's really spatial intelligence that is necessary but since I think that vision can "emulate" it maybe I can argue that it is vision that is necessary. ----- Original Message ----- From: "a" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, October 12, 2007 5:38 PM Subject: Re: [agi] The Grounding of Maths > Mark Waser wrote: >>>> Visualspatial intelligence is required for almost anything. >> >> I'm sorry.
