Richard, I am sad that your AGI project is not open source at this stage. Please consider developing *something* open source that is related to your mission, at least analogous to OpenCog <--> Novamente. I very much would like to reuse any of your components if we are license and API compatible, and likewise I would like to contribute to your effort if you find anything of value in what Texai releases. Here are the principal open source components that I re-use. Consider, if you will, the cost to purchase commercial alternatives, or to develop these yourself. Furthermore, consider the possibility that volunteers might be motivated to contribute towards building your AGI if it is non-commercial / open source. I am also strongly in favor of open access for AGI/AI academic papers that we publish. And that goes. politely, for any other AGI project manager on this list. -Steve Stephen L. Yes, and I hope to describe that in due course. > What dev technology do you use? The Mac OS X development environment. > Do you have a high level milestone schedule outlined? Yes. > How do you plan to test your AGI? At this stage, the initial tests will involve the interactions with users of the development environment. > Do you have a project specific glossary you can share? No, but I will be outlining the framework at the heart of the design. You can get a hint of it in the Loosemore & Harley publication that is at susaro.com. > What's your $ budget for thins thing? (if not secret) Sorry, but no I will not disclose that. > What magic did you use to get funding? (if applicable) I am not sure: I talk and people seem to accept that. I don't think it is magic. So far, the project involves only building the development environment, which itself contains the core elements of the AGI. Sorry to be so coy, but this is not an open source project at this stage.
