Hi all, Just came to a new company using trac 0.12 for quite some time and also performing Scrum but trac itself is not the best solution for performing Scurm, is it? ;-) So Excel is helping on some stuff and the rest is done by improvising.
Nevertheless, I just did some googleing and got in touch with Agilo and my first impression is: Nice one, that could improve the situation very much, so let's give it a shot! What did I do? Downloaded the windows installer and played with this "demo" - it is still quite nice so let's dip deeper into it. Now I want to test it with a dump of the production data ... this is where it gets complicated. Long story short: Is there an easy way to migrate all tickets from an existing trac 0.12 into Agilo 1.3.1? Or are there any best practices? I'm not expecting a one-click installer but maybe just some hints. Two approaches I've been thinking about until now: 1. Set up a fresh Agilo, update the trac which is included in Agilo to 0.12, copy the old trac. Well, I guess this sounds easier than it is as Agilo is clearly adding some stuff to the database etc. 2. Install Agilo to the existing trac 0.12. Hmm ... I'm not sure if this works, doesn't it? I guess that's enough for the moment, so now it is up to you ;-) Thanks in advance. Cheers, Andreas PS: However, I have to admit that I'm clearly no expert to trac expect the fact that I've been using it for some weeks. Neither do I know python very well so please do not expect expertise in those areas ;-) -- Follow Agilo on Twitter: http://twitter.com/agiloforscrum Please support us by reviewing and voting on: http://userstories.com/products/8-agilo-for-scrum http://ohloh.net/p/agilo-scrum http://freshmeat.net/projects/agiloforscrum You have received this message because you are subscribed to the "Agilo for Scrum" Google Group.
