> I'll keep you posted about my success or whatever it is that will > happen ;-) Well, here are my first impressions on installing Agilo to the existing trac 0.12 - of course, a copy of the production ;-)
I followed the instructions above: - Made a copy of the existing trac which is now called trac-agilo - Downloaded binary_agilo-1.3.1_PRO-py2.4.egg.zip from the website and installed it via easy_install - As suggested anywhere (can't find it), I did not enable it via webadmin but directly in trac.ini by inserting "agilo.* = enabled" (Background: By doing so everything is enabled and if there is anything new to Agilo you do not need to manually enable it via webadmin.) - trac-admin XXX upgrade Where am I know? IT RUNS ... well, I can't tell you that it is really running, it more like crawling because each click takes quite some time. OK, I read about that Agilo slows down when used with 0.12 but currently it seems to be not acceptable. Sometimes it seems to be like in the good old times when we all just had 56k ;-) However, I will continue testing it and I hope that it gets better. As far as I can tell no tickets seem to be lost but this takes some time to verify this and to see how it works when adding requirement, sprints, taks etc. Again, I will keep you posted.
