Hello,
I don't understand how to use the Agilo appliance. I have installed
the Agilo appliance in VirtualBox. This is agilo-pro-1.3.4-
appliance.zip. I have the VirtualBox playing. I logged in. I started
Trac on the VM: tracd --port 8001 /vae/lib/trac/demo.
Now, how can I access the web interface on the host running the vm?
How can I access the same interface from the outside world?
I'm sorry but I am not an expert in networks.
Thank you.
Someone gave me an explanation involving opening ports in firewalls
and ip port forwarding. I have to create a path to connect the inside
to the outside world. I guess there are preferences in the VM for
that. I think I will be OK. I will dig this by myself.
Did you manage to fix the problem? Usually a VM host system provides options
to expose the hosted VM's interface in the same network as the hosting
machine.
E.g. in Virtualbox you can create a Bridged adapter linked to the host
machine interface
that you normally use to access the network. This will result in your
hosted machine
having its own (virtual) interface, and you can use that to access Agilo
from other machines
in the same network.
Hope that helps
Cheers
