I'll use thsi chance to introduce myself and say hello.
Daniel:
As I remember, in the installer, it asksy ou if you want to either install files from the game CD or download them from the net--I think you have to choose one or the other, then have the CD in the drive while the game in stalling. However, I myself don't have a CD.

Subject: [AGRIP-discuss] Installation of Audioquake doesn´t work!

Hi Gamers, Hi Agrip Team!

This is my first message in this mailing list, I hope that it fits the rules :-)

I am totally new with audioquake.

I tried to install the thing, but it doesn´t work anything, perhaps someone of
you can help me.

The AQ-Installation process itselfes works fine, but when I launch AQ for the
first time, he asks for a Quake-CD.

I unchecked the "Download Shareware-Version" durring the installation of AQ,
because I got an original Quake CD from a friend.
But AQ always tells me that the CD is not valid (Can´t find q101int.1) or
something like this)

I searched on the CD for that file, it doesn´t exist anywhere.

Now, I bought Quake from Id Softwares online shop, but this program comes
as an .EXE-Install file, not as CD-Image.
When I install that version, there is also not any file starting with q101int.

Can somebody tell me how to make Audioquake function together with my
original Quake version.

Best Regards - Daniel! - Looking forward to my first deathmatch
