hi, Tbrn doesn't have a bandwith cap, only harddrive limitations you get 5 giggs for $25 a month and 30 mbps to play with, with a vertual server and your own ip address. What could you want more then your own ip address? In all seriousness though a quake server takes up about 64 mb of ram, i would think it would be a waste to spend about $200 to run a quake server and not use the server for anything else. On 3/4/2006 at 19:10 Rylan Vroom said Yes, you would need at least basic knowledge of linux to set up a quake server. You might also have to watch out with tbrn, especially if their bandwidth alotment is based on "fair use" However, they are a good sollution if you don't want to spend alot. However, if you want to go all out, I would recomend getting a real server all of your own and paying for it to be hosted in a data centre. _______________________________________________ AGRIP-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.agrip.org.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/agrip-discuss
