it should recognise it, its part of the quake install.
you should reinstall quake.
though the only thing the qmod installer is is a wrapper to make sure
things are in the same place as the game its just a zip with an ini
with descriptions.
as long as you have a directory with the mod in it in the audioquake
folder then its self contained and should recognise it.
