This is an interesting question that i cannot find a 
definative answer for. I assume that by having a  previous 
reaction to shellfish this increases your hypersensitivity 
and you are then more vulnerable to physiological changes 
(cascade and mediator systems) brought about by contrast 
media.
A good article that considers contrast agent reactions, but 
no mention of shellfish! is:

Mechanisms of Adverse Reactions to Radiologic Contrast 
Media,Prevention Strategies, and Appropriate Responses.
