maybe try:

var s = res.value;
document.getElementByID("Purchased_assets1__0_Asset_description1_strFeatures").value = s;

what happens if you "alert" the document.getElementByID("Purchased_assets1__0_Asset
_description1_strFeatures").value before you set it and after?

Hi Jon,

Since this is for an existing app, I can tell you that the HTML is
huge!  To sum it up, there are probably 30 controls added to the main
page and each control can contain anywhere from 0 to 4 controls itself.
Some of these controls repeat itself on the page.  So I'd love to show
it to you, but its just way to big to go through.

Russ
