My next step would be to use the DOM and _javascript_ in the callback function to add something to the parent node that holds the textarea.  There's something fishy about that.

I'll keep digging.  I wasn't the original developer on this app and it
looks like since this control can be repeated multiple times there may
be something else going on with a _javascript_ table or something to
store all of the info for each one of the purchased assets.
