As a Jakarta proposal, it sounds worthy.  If you would like to put it in
Alexandria, then perhaps it should in at least some SMALL way reuse, extend
or be even vaguely compatible with some of the work that came before it.

All I am suggesting is that before you reinvent you take a moment to survey
what is already out there.  Let us know what you like or don't like about
it.  Tell us how to fix it.
