For the rear brakes on a '77 Spider I did the old remove the pads, then
pump on the brake until the stuck pistons came out.
It worked fine for the inside piston, but then how do you get the other
one out? I don't see any way (now) to blow it out with compressed air. I
tried hammering it out by (barely) attaching vice grips to the smaller
diameter part that actually pushes on the brake pad, then hammering on
the vice grip.
It's out about half way. Both this piston, what I can see of it, and the
inside one were pristine though the bore was fairly rusty.
Any neat solutions out there short of calling APE?
