I think you might have it backwards. Some earlier than 1985 GTV-6's
came with metric wheels. The Speedlines on my '86 are 15" and they are
the wheels that came with this car.

aftermarket wheels that came on it and fitted a set of original-type

last time
I ran in a TSD rally: there is a variable error that is as much as
10% on
the speedo; it is sorta kinda accurate above 80 mph but increasingly
further off as it approaches parked. Go figure. (PS, the navigator
worked it out
well and we won the rally.)
