i've used the air hammer for certain application although there was one 164 right side drive shaft i couldn't get out of its middle housing with every trick in the book.like i mentioned i give a serious slam on the mentioned arm near the ball joint a couple times.its fun and usually loosens the ball joint.its the same physics involved as your mentioned air hammer.just a little more satisfying.(;>)
