I'm not aware of any common failures on these seat rails, other than the fact that they're all 30+ years old at this point. The only Alfetta seat rail failure I ever had was when one of the front bolts went through the rail.
The Milano seats bolt right in to the Alfetta, so the good news is you can probably find a set of Milano seat rails and use them to replace yours. bs ________________________________ From: Stefano Iachella <[email protected]> To: Alfa Digest <[email protected]> Sent: Tue, December 29, 2009 9:39:24 AM Subject: [alfa] Common seat rail failure? Cats, The seat in my Alfetta has begun to rock back and forth when entering the car and sitting down. I have not done a thorough inspection - removing the seat and tuning it upside down and looking. I just wanted to ask if there is a common failure of some piece of the seat rail and if a reweld works. I originally though the rail-to-floor bolts were loose or something so I looked closely at them and they are on tight. Something midway from the front bolt to the rear bolt on the door side rail had given way. Anyone have this happen?
