Based on it being intermittent, it is probably a loose or badly corroded
"wire" or connection. ("wires" can be either real wires or the flat
conductors found on circuit boards.)And the "wire" could be either the hot wire to the whole fuse box, just the fuse that powers the items having problems, or it could be the ground "wire". For the tach it could be the sending unit wire is loose.
